By ‘academic’ I really mean work that was conducted in and primarily for a scholarly audience – thus, individuals and groups working professionally in the field of higher education and beyond. I have worked in such a field since 1989 and a glance at my CV elsewhere demonstrates something of the ‘academic life’ and what it entails in terms of activities and responsibilities.
As I write on the Home page, this site is primarily for works that were not particularly intended for such a specialist audience. However, here is a selection of the type of things covered in the course of my own ‘academic life’.
