The magic month of May, that contains both Beltane and the eve of summer.
The time of the Green Man.
We see it in the forest everywhere – and the meadows:

An acceleration of time and energy. However, suitable for climate change issues, the weather skates around out of control: one day it is 8 degrees, and the next it is 28. People are complaining. Clothes wise, the month requires winter pullovers and shorts and T-shirts.
Aiming to re-equilibrate, I have been doing some Chakra work:

Also, collecting some nice photos and painting:
Mousehole in 1930

And, a rather nice painting – and unusual – of Hayle from Stanhope Forbes: a very humane painter.

I get the garden going with some new plants, but the weather is against them:

Reading this month: I have been looking at the Magical Writings of the renowned Irish poet W. B. Yeats. Always a romantic, he wrote poems of the mystery of place and time. Like the Lake Isle of Innisfree:

But, he was also a member of the Golden Dawn magic society, and explored the techniques and applications of such practices as Tarot, Numerology, ceremony, Egyptian symbolism, etc. and their potential effects on those who worked with them. This book presents his writing on history, philosophy, astrology, etc.
What have I been listening to? What else? Macca’s back:
